About

“My greatest hope is that, again, that no one will say ‘I lost my battle with cancer.’ I hate, HATE that phrase. Cancer will not win. Jesus will win. End of story.”

About Sara

Sara Pigg Walker was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in the United States, where she pursued her calling in physical therapy and writing. A devoted wife, mother, and follower of Christ, her life changed dramatically in 2010 when she lost her daughter Anna Elizabeth and was later diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at age 33.

Through her journey, Sara used her gift of writing to encourage others and point hearts toward Jesus, reaching hundreds of thousands of readers around the world. After her passing in 2012, her family and friends established The Sara Walker Foundation to continue sharing hope and faith in her honor.
