Throughout her 20 month battle with cancer, Sara Walker journaled her experiences. She candidly wrote of her physical, emotional, and spiritual battles; hoping and praying that she could provide some sort of encouragement to at least one individual. However, God took her story and her writings and reached hundreds of thousands of readers worldwide. It is a true testament of the words written in scripture: "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
What resonated most with her audience was the concept of "savoring." She expressed frequently the value of enjoying the little things this life has to offer; seeing each moment of this life as a gift from God. For this reason, the Foundation has created a Savorings Blog to share the good works He continues to do and hopefully provide encouragement for our readers. You can also download "Sara's Journal" to read the chronological collection of Sara's writings and share it with others.
May you savor each day that He gives you on this earth!
