Run. Walk. Worship.
A Community United in Hope.
More Than a Race
The Sara Walker Run was created to bring people together through movement, fellowship, and faith, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels to run, walk, or simply show up in support of a shared purpose. Rooted in community, the event centers on encouragement, connection, and hope, concluding with a time of worship that reminds us the run is not about miles completed, but about hearts united and faith lived out together.
About the Sara Walker Run
Sara Walker loved running, and when she was diagnosed with cancer, her friends and community came together to organize the first Sara Walker Run in 2011. What began as a way to help support Sara during her medical journey quickly became a powerful expression of love, encouragement, and unity. Hundreds gathered to run, walk, and stand alongside Sara, offering support through action and presence.
Due to its impact, the Sara Walker Run continued as an annual event and became the Foundation’s primary fundraising effort. All proceeds and sponsorships support the work of the Sara Walker Foundation, helping extend Sara’s legacy of faith, encouragement, and service to others.
